EPG Import not working for me after 6.9.001 release. The 'Dorik mod' version, which I normally use hangs and never completes and the built in version completes but doesn't populate the epg. Gone back to 6.8.009 and it is working again. Tried it with VU+ Ultimo4k and Uno4k.

well Dorik version probably is not compiled on correct python version and built in version fails with ?? and was it downloaded from feeds?? EPGimport works for me

I have never had any success with the built in epgimport. It either doesn't work at all or works for a few days then stops importing. Every new image, first thing I did was remove built in epgimport and replace it with the Dorik one, which always worked well.
This time, (build 6.9.001) the Dorik version didn't work. I have tried the built in version on an Ultimo4k and an Uno4k and it doesn't populate the epg at all.

So, the only way I can have an epg at the moment is to go back to 6.8.009, where the Dorik version works fine. Just tried and the built in version doesn't work for me with build 6.8.009 or 6.9.001. It runs but puts nothing at all in the epg.

I will stick to build 6.8.009 with dorik epgimport and I'll have a look over the weekend to see what's going on with the built in version.

epgimport working fine here and even the iptv channels trough jediepg.Important is that you set the sources

Yeah, I use Bouquetmakerxtreme and jediepgxtreme, then epgimport. All the sources are checked in jedi epg in epgimport, in fact the settings for the built in version of epgimport and Dorik's version look identical - except one works and one doesn't..

I have never had any success with the built in version so I must have something installed or a setting that it doesn't like. I will have a better look over the weekend.

Is it an Xtreme provider? Use M3UIPTV plugin. That sets up EPGImport and the EPG populates fine.

Found the culprit. I had crossepg installed. Removed it and epgimport started working properly. I know it was something in my setup

They are 2 very different plugins which do not conflict, apart from updating the epg, so not sure why this would fix your issue.

I had Dorik's epg and crossepg installed, everything worked up until build 6.9.001. After 6.9.001, Dorik's stopped working. I removed Dorik's epg and crossepg and reinstalled the built in epg import and it worked. Maybe it was Dorik's version that was messing up the built-in version? First time I have had it working properly in a long time.
