[VU+ Duo] cable scan

hi there
i have a vu duo2 running apollo 115
i have dvb sky t330 usb tuner connected running my cable side with no problems amb works fine and manual scan brings up all the channels up
but when i connect the dvb sky t330 to a vu duo running apollo 166
the abm keeps giving me message cannot read data
and when i do a manual scan of channels only 196 channels are picked up
i use the same net id as the one vu duo2
ive tried the latest hades image still no joy
ive tried the image apollo 142 but still no joy
can anyone help me
its driving me nuts!!!!!!!

This is most probably signal related. You should be getting more channels than that.

im using the same feed im using on my vu duo2
and when plugged back in to my duo2 the amb works fine so does the manual scan
is there anyway i can get the same build i am using on duo2 for the duo?

Have you tried all the USB ports? one might provide more power than the other.

thats a very old image,are there not newer drivers with newer images and boxes may differ?
