[GiGaBlue HD800SE] Change video output from remote?

Have been using this image for months.
Always worked perfect, but recently unit comes on, start screens are visible & the moment channel comes on TV goes blue (no signal) - possibly the unit is failing...

HDMI connection to HD TV

I can use webinterface & its remote control to navigate to AV settings, change output to SCART (not even connected!), at which point picture comes back on TV (with question "Is this resolution OK?") and I can carry on with No & it reverts back to HDMI & works perfectly again for the session

Question: is there a way to change video output with key combination (without going through menu, which is not visible on TV)

It only happens on channels that do not clear on boot. Changing (blind, just using numberpad) to FTA channel brings the picture back (most odd behaviour)

Was this possibly adjusted in later builds?
