More of heads up

I've an autotimer set to record F1 qualifying and race The United State GP is on this weekend and the qualifying highlights detailed in the EPG as Sunday 1:05am to1:55am

The clocks go back @ 2am on Sunday

I've just checked my timer (set via the autotimer) and:
start time = 1:02am
end time = 1:00am (I'm assuming end time is end time in the epg plus padding minus the hour the clocks go back)

Will openvix handle this where the end time is before the start time?

If the recording starts will openvix handle the time change for both over the air (transponder) and over the internet (NTP) while the recording is still taking place?

EDIT
As an experiment I've just configured the end of recording padding from 5 minutes to 3 minutes which means the recording should finish 2 minutes before the clocks go back. A new timer created from the EPG now shows
start time = 1:02 am
end time = 1:58 am

The relevant thing is what the UTC time in the timers say, rather then how this is displayed in localtime.

So 1792886520 -> 1792890000 should be OK.

But 1792886520 -> 1792886400 would not.

@adm - I've noticed the displayed time being wrong for record timers around clock changes in the past. However, it always works out ok. The EPG core data is in UTC, so all should be well. I also have F1 set to record from CH4.

Yes I've just checked the timer.xml file for UTC times for this F1 qualifying timer.

begin="1792886520"
end ="1792889880"

Thanks both for the clarification.
