[CrossEPG-Config] CrossEPG download problem

Have my VU+ duo on latest VIX image.

Been working fine for months.

Just last week I noticed the Crossepg data hadn't loaded from the previous night.

Pressed blue button to manually do it. Flashes up starting downloader then straight to loading data and hangs with the spinning VIX for hours.

Changed the location to internal flash and it runs perfectly.

Back to media/hdd and it hangs.

I've deleted the epg.dat and rebooted the box.

Its writing ok to my hdd as my recordings are fine.


Can anyone suggest why it wont write to my hard drive now?

Best solution is to setup a swap file. This can be done via blue button> Vix > Swap Manager. Press blue button to create and follow the step by step instructions given.
The Duo, Solo suffer from lack of memory, doing this will allocate more memory. Chose the 256mb file size. :thumbsup:

I am trying to get the EGP data to save to my HDD, which it was doing for over a year. The load to flash was just to check the plugin was working.

Is the creation of a swap file only when your saving to internal flash?
