Hi guys. who'd have thought me with a VIX Duo Problem :lol3:
i don't think this is a settings fault but rather a VIX Bug but i will let andy be the judge of that.
Last month i posted how to get a DVD Drive running on VIX [http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?3137-USB-DVD-not-mounting&p=29749#post29749]
well that was done in DUO VIX 1.1. I have since that day as i dont watch DVD's removed the drive from the rear USB slot.
Today just out of interest i decided to plug in the DVD back and just leave it plugged in, never know when i may use it. Now using VIX 1.2
I started my box and i went into a continuous green screen loop.so i left it whil'st i prepeared my USB stick for a reflash.
I went to the box and unpluged the USB Picon Stick and the DVD cable. Then it clicked to me, being a PC engineer the first code of practise is to remove any new hardware installed if an error has occured.
So I restarted the box and low and behold the box is fine as if nothing ever happened.
Here is the crash log there are a few there as it was in a loop i'll post them all just incase
BTW VIX 1.1 DVD drive working Perfect. VIX 1.2 Same DVD drive gives continuous Green Screen loop.
