Dying DVB-T dual tuner module?

The dual DVB-T module (NIM(TT3L10) (MultiType DVB-C/T2)) in my Duo2 appears to be failing. Immediately after power on both tuners are working, but after a day or two the second tuner stops working (blank picture or zero size recordings). The box also has a single DVT-S module (NIM(AVL6211) (DVB-S2)) which is working fine.

I've checked voltages on the main board and they seem to be OK (although I had to remove the tuners to get at the test points that are probably the tuner voltage). I put each tuner module back in the slot it wasn't previously in, but symptoms persist.

Does anyone know a source of replacement tuner modules for this old model of box?
Does anyone have a spare tuner they would be prepared to part with?
Is there an alternative, such as a USB tuner, that's known to work with the Duo2?

Hmm, might be a failing PSU under load. And yours is not external. I take it you have checked PSU for bulging capacitors?

I have two tuners, one is a solo se and another in a solo 4k. I'll put them in the classifieds tomorrow if you want.

Yes, everything looks fine in PSU and on main board.

I have two tuners, one is a solo se and another in a solo 4k. I'll put them in the classifieds tomorrow if you want.

Are they dual tuners? (i.e. 2 tuners in one module.) I'd also need to be confident they'd work in a Duo2.

also check capacitors on tuner. With both power unit and tuners were cap problems. I had 2 boxes and both capicitors failing but box still working intermediatly.Google repair tuner vu duo2

The TTL 310 tuner is a hybrid twin module. One input with internal splitter.

Those Vu tuners all fit and work in those receivers. You can get a tuner from an Uno from about 15 years ago and use it in an Ultimo 4K. Single or twin satellite or hybrid. AFAIK, the Solo SE (V1) had obstruction on motherboard, that is why twin tuners did not work. These were adjusted on the motherboard on V2.

They won't fit on the MTSIF/FBC sockets on the Duo 4K, Duo 4K SE and Ultimo 4K.
