I am trying to log into the box with Filezilla which has worked perfectly in the past. I have re-read the FTP password guide. I have a WLAN green link, the IP address from the adapter settings, user name "root" and I've reset the password several times. But all to no avail and the connection keeps timing out.
When I go back to change the password, the previous one is not shown, although I have saved it with the green button - is that correct??
Webif seems to work.

What does your FileZilla log show? Can you ping the receiver from the PC?

Can you telnet(e.g. putty) into box then login root and enter command passwd .. type new password and re enter.

Thanks. The only Filezilla log I see is on the main screen. It just says connection timed out.
I managed to do what I wanted to do with OpenWebif.
