Hi All,

Just purchased second hand Vu+ Duo and its got BlackHole 2.0.5 Rev B installed.
I want to install the latest Vix - openvix-3.0.783-vuduo_usb.zip (or should i use a more stable one?)

Is it just a matter of putting the unzipped image files onto a FAT 32 USB stick powering down my Vu+, plugging in the memory stick and then powering back up?
Or do i need to install the latest bootloader as well, if so which one do i need?

Many thanks

Steve

So far so good :)
Flashed the bootloader and the Vix
Where do i now get the latest Bouquet (channel list 28.2e) and CCcam files?

Cheers mate

The image comes with autobouquetmaker pre installed, you can use this for your bouquet (28.2e) Cams can be found here

Code:

Thanks. Not 100% sure what the CCcam actually does, from the link you sent which one should i install and whats the difference between them all? :p

I have only ever used 2.3.0 so not sure how the others performed. Why did you ask for CCcam files if you have no idea of what they are used for?

As i know i need it to get my 'line' to work but as there is so many to choose from i just wondered why there was so many and what they all did?

Use the latest version which is 2.3.0 - it will work ok for you.

Most people won't notice any difference between any of the CCcam versions.

Thanks Jimmmmm and lgleave22 all sorted. My Vu+ has now got the latest Bootloader, Vix and Bouquet list and 'all' my channels are working.

Absolute doddle to do if you read the setup guides on here and some other forums

Keep up the great work people :smiley_yup:

In terms of using the cams with a legitimate subscription, I've used oscam, mgcamd and cccam but tend to stick with cccam. Opinions vary on them all to which is better / worse. I find cccam easier to configure

If your already using a BH 2.xx image then there is no need to flash the bootloader again, ( same goes for Any image released since last November ( 2012 ) ).
