From the feeds under picons... I use "tv-ocram.shd.tansparent-white-nopadding"

Bent picture in corner

On Technomate TM-Nano 2 Super, Blue HD skin looks bent when you press EPG etc, as show in the attached picture.
There are black bars along the left and bottom.
This is not the case with my 3 x Vu+ solo2 boxes, everything looks perfect on my Vu+ boxes, unlike my Technomate TM-Nano 2 Super which looks wrong.


How do I fix this on my Technomate TM-Nano 2 Super?

How can the TV cause this when the interface is that of the box and Blue HD
I have switched boxes with the same TV and this only happens with Technomate TM-Nano 2 Super but not any Vu+ boxes with the same TV

Using many boxes here, this slight issue only pops up on any TV that can't disable overscan.
Have you checked all the TV HDMI inputs for overscan issues?

Not all boxes handle the scaling & positioning of PiG the way it should when OSD-position is used to compensate for overscan. All VU's (and more hardware) have the same.
This is a driver issue; nothing we can do about it.

Ah, so the manufacturer is at fault.

Happens on VU, TM, ET, GB on various TVs, many images & many skins on my set-ups.
Overscan can be adjusted on most newer TVs, you'll need to google the TV make, model number & the term overscan if you can't find that option using your TV remote.

PiG: Picture in Graphics (small TV-window)
OSD: On Screen Display (the GUI, Graphical User Interface, all menu's etc.)
Overscan: The TV blows every video pixel approx 1.05 times, so every screen pixel shows 0.95 video pixel. This is a residue from the CRT age and prevents almost every modern TV from showing real HD. More info on:

In this case what you notice is that although the OSD-position function can adjust OSD for the overscan of your TV, the PiG is not scaled the same way.

Anyway: your best option is to disable overscan. That can be done on most TV's, but as all manufacturers use different names, this can be quite a challenge. Best is to google for "Overscan <exact TV type & number>".

I adjusted the overscan settings but it didn't help as it isn't an overscan problem. if you look closely at the picture I uploaded earlier, the image isn't cropped, it is big black bars along LEFT and BOTTOM... an alignment issue of some sort rather than a scaling issue. A scaling issue would show black bars along top bottom or left and right... not left and bottom.

A rather odd problem so I continue to try to resolve it.

Can only use my TV's & STB's for my own reference, but on all my findings/testings, it is an overscan issue on the TV, not the STB.

As you can adust the overscan on the TV, can you do that, reset it to no overscan & upload a new screnshot of the same screen?
Box used, TV used might also help when you upload the updated screenshot.

Hi I am trying to update to the latest build 70/71 or 73. When i have installed them i cannot find the blue HD skin. Any ideas where i find it after Flash????

or if using the HD vix, blue-hd wont work on there. so is not in the feeds

is that on 71 and 73,i have flashed but keeps saying feed down or unstable?
