[SF8008] Openvix & DAB+ feeds?

I personally don't have any newer bouquets as I haven't played with DAB for months. Maybe some other contributor on the thread can share? To be honest, I found the audio quality on most services to be poor in comparison with their equivalents in the main Freesat and Sky radio feeds. Fairly typical of DAB services generally - cram as many services in the 1.5MHz window as possible. There were a couple of DAB+ services (notably Classic FM) which I could never receive satisfactorily no matter what "dabbling" (sorry) I did with codecs and different stream readers.:giggle:

thanks aye the sound quality isint great but some (the ones im interested in) arent on satellite in any other format. i do have a porable DAB radio but as im in a dead zone its just a local mux for my town with barely anything on it & not the ones im interested in. as i say i have most of the UK ones working but im not sure how i need to edit the bouquets to get the few that dont work working, am more then willing to learn mind

btw the ones that dont work like Kisstory show up as a satellite channel & not a stream (as shown in the attachment), if that makes sense, obviously the ones as streams work

They are probably from some kind of transponder (11426H,11553H,...), the source is displayed at the bottom left.

no their blank

in the SDL National bouquet some stations where like that eg Times but then an edited bouquet (one i linked to) was posted which fixed the stations in that bouquet. i just dont know how to edit the ones in D1 National & D1 Scotland that dont work to get them to work like the ones in the SDL National one have been

Ok - took me a while to get back into the groove on this, but the D1 national and D1 Scotland streams are working, including KISS, KISSTORY and others you mentioned. You need to make sure that the service reference is properly escaped on the file you are using. If you go back in the thread to post #63 you will see where @Clemente was having issues with those exact services. I discovered similar problems but was able to get them to work by using the escape character string %3a instead of ":". It only seems to affect some and not all services, but it's safer to make sure every entry is properly escaped in the bouquet file. Here's the lines from the D1 National bouquet properly escaped:

Code:
#SERVICE 4097:0:2:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a5237/ts2na/1%3a0%3a2%3a2959%3a90B%3a3B%3a11A0000%3a0%3a0%3a0/1062/12/0xc5c0:KISS

Just check that any of your non-working stations have %3a instead of : in the http url.

hi its changed them to streams which is great but now i get no sound on any even the ones i did before

I have played around with using gstplayer and exte3player from ServiceApp instead of the default player and it has given me some success with the audio quality of playback, but I will caution you that it may cause other issues with regular TV playback and recording. I have driven myself crazy trying various combinations of player / decoder to try and get the AAC+ audio working from the DAB services.

What do you mean? What did the entries in the bouquet look like beforehand? I presume you have the "before" version still?
as i thought was an Open ATV error. iv got them working. thanks for your help. how do i get the ones on other satellites like 9°E working ? i have motorised satellite

they play ok for me using default player on Open ATV 7.6 Beta

Here's my bouquet for D1 on 9E. You may have to dig around on other satellite forums or the github links mentioned in the early posts on this thread to get info on the services available on other satellites. The attached D1 bouquet is pretty much the same as on 28.2 Strip off the ".txt" suffix for use. You can copy the general structure and use it on other sats, just changing the url to suit.

thanks appreciated. those worked straight away, just had to send the bouquet over👍

Now you know what to do to build your own bouquet file on other sats. ;)
Have a look here
Code:

to see a list plus a lot of useful info on how everything is strung together and build instructions for linux if you wish to experiment further. This site was invaluable to me.
