Password

Having a mare today. Been messing with bouquets and now can't access box via dcc. If I reflash vix 2.1 will I be able to change pass

Don't know why this happened as have never changed my password since first vix image

a reflash should default the password to blank .... unless you then apply back up settings

use telnet to change the password ( putty or simular )

type in at login root,
password leave blank, just hit return
then type, passwd ( not password )
you will then be prompted to type in your new password, as you type, nothing will show
once done, you will be asked to repeat
once done, a message will say, password changed
