Hi,
I have a problem with the motor on my motorized dish not moving when I change channels. My setup is as follows:
The problem happens if I've been watching something on the cable tuner and then switch to the satellite. If I flip backwards and forwards from the cable tuner to the satellite tuner it sometimes starts to work. Strangely, if I change to a channel on the satellite that the dish is already pointing at it still doesn't work even though the dish doesn't have to move. In this instance I can again get it working by flipping between cable and satellite tuners.
It's as though the satellite tuner doesn't provide power when I first switch to it. It seems to though on the third or fourth time of asking.
Once the dish is working/moving though everything works fine. If I continue watching something on the satellite I can happily move the dish around as normal. The problem is only when coming from cable to satellite.
I've done a bit of looking around for others with a similar problem and came across these threads:

These threads describe similar symptoms as my problem. They though suggest a motor fault. With my problem happening even when the motor doesn't need to move could that still be the case?
I've attached a debug log from when it happens. The last thing in the log is when I tried to switch from cable to a channel on the satellite.
Does any one have any ideas about what's going on here?

- Darkmotor
- Black Ultra LNB
