No, do not change it in the translation. Most likely it is missing in the skin so the setting does not show.hi, where can i change the day-format: "Sa 31 Jan"? i searched thru settings... but couldnt find one. I guess, i could/should correct it in de.po to "Sa, 31. Jan" but i'm looking for a different format like "31.01.26".
ok, will wait for @DimitarCC's response. by the way, why are there gazillions of format definitions in the po file? there are around 50 just for formats starting with "%a".No, do not change it in the translation. Most likely it is missing in the skin so the setting does not show.

Can I see a screengrab so I can investigate.I have added this to the skin...But there is not this format @2stain claim is correct for Germany....![]()
Officially correct, but in business that is not strictly accurate….. you see all formats - including / (even on my German bank statements)here are some german date formats:
01.02.26 or 01.02.2026 (year can always be short or long)
So, 1.2.26 or So, 01.02.2026 (day, month can drop leading 0)
Sonntag, 1. Februar 2026 or So, 1. Feb (year can be dropped)
there are no formats with /, day and month always have a . if number, weekday is always separated with ,
So you have to translate some of the format strings.here are some german date formats:

So, 1.2.26 or So, 01.02.2026 (day, month can drop leading 0)
Sonntag, 1. Februar 2026 or So, 1. Feb (year can be dropped)

thats not a problem. but why are there soooo many different format strings in de.po. are those the strings of ALL languages? So you have to translate some of the format strings.
