Timeshift problems and EPG start at channel 1 option?

Hi, I've got 1 problem and 1 query

Timeshift seems to be problematic sometimes.

If I'm in time shift and fast forward the adverts, instead of continuing playing where I've fast forward to, it loops back to the point where I started the fast forwarded from. Then it won't let me rewind any further back or forward than the point of where I first tried to fast forward from.

This has happened a few times. Today I fast forwarded 3 minutes and it weirdly went about 1/2 an hour, so I tried to rewind and it would not rewind back to the program I was watching, let alone the adverts I was trying to fast forward past. I never did get to see the end of the program and had to stop time shift to save it from a continuous loop. I restarted the box, but this happens quite a lot to the point I now watch the adverts in fear of losing the program I am watching.


The second query

I can't find the option I am looking for. I am sure there is an option somewhere for the EPG to load at channel 1 when epg is selected, rather than start at the last channel that was watched. Does anyone know where that option is exactly? - Thanks I have been looking for half an hour through the menus and I'm stumped. Maybe that option has been removed? Hopefully not.

Other than these small issues, solo2 and Vix is awesome especially with the BlueHD skin!!!

Point 2 isn't it EPG > Menu > Channel 1 at start?

Thanks simono5, that's it. I looked through every option on in Menu > Setup and it was driving me crazy looking for that option. I knew it was there - I just couldn't re find it.

just to clarify

EPG (on the remote) > with the epg on screen > menu (on the remote) > graphicalEPG settings and "Chanel at 1st start" yes

There is probably a way of getting to this hidden menu somewhere where all the other settings are located... Menu > Setup > System ... but I couldn't find it. Maybe this hidden menu could be put there under epg? Just a though Vix team.

The options for each epg screen can be different. They are not hidden, they are actually where you are suggesting they should be.
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > Graphical EPG Settings

You'll find most other menus can be quickly accessed when you are in that aspect of the image. In this case, when you were in the graphical epg system, pressing menu brought you into those settings. Another example: The channel list menu. Instead of calling up the menu from the beginning of the whole menu system, if you bring up the channel list, pressing menu takes you into the settings for that straight away. Ther are obvioulsy some things which you have to do the long way round.

So it is, my mistake. I looked under EPG > Settings MultiEPG, Single EPG, and Cross EPG, and didn't think to check out GraphicalEPG settings. Thanks for coming back on that.
