[VU+ Solo2] Very slow solo2 after Zeus install

Take the top off and unplug it, just a few screws and about 2 mins to do.

sorry for the delay in replying ( im at work ). as donnie says carefully remove the lid, then just unplug the HDD and test it for a day or so with it like this to rule out the HDD.

Ideally no as it can corrupt easily which will fill your flash requiring a reflash, but you can try a USB stick for the time being with the HDD disconnected, just so we know if it's the HDD thats causing the issues.

Installed new VIX image version 002.
No updates EPG (Linuxsat exUSSR XMLTV).
Installed new skins. Unable select new skins. Only default shown.
No more problems found.
Speed like old 808 version.
Picons from external HDD working.
HBBTV - working.
Recording - working
Automatic scan - A and B tuner automatic scan working.
EPG from sattelite working but no working Cross EPG (probably working but not all Cross EPG functions).

Think I have it sorted lads. It's now running with 002 on, there is an ever so slight lag when pressing some buttons. Everything is connected up too. Internal and External HDD, also the USB.

I re-initiated the internal HDD. That was half full. It shouldn't cause problems but I think it did. As that was the drive where it would record and timeshift too. So not sure if it was like a pc drive where it can become fragmented, causing slow access maybe????

Just gonna use the internal basically for recording off telly and timeshift. See how I get on.

there is an ever so slight lag when pressing some buttons.

some button now respond to the release of the button not the press, as it needs to check whether your doing a long button press or short.

UP/DOWN , CHL -/+ are a few.

Same problem here on Vu duo and duo2 i have try every things still slow, went back to old vix image and its working fine but its very very slow on Zeus???

I can't replicate that on any of my boxes. And none of the team can, so there's nothing we can 'fix'.
