Viarksat (not 4k) looping after update

Hello, wonder can you help or advise please
Have Viark Sat (1 yr old) updated latest firmware from link
this put the box into constant booting mode going to Logo then booting again
Sought advice and was given Firmware V 6.00
Viark accepted this and is useable but if I try to install V2.20 (by UPDATE.BIN) or internally via USB
It goes back to looping with Boot & Logo
Be grateful for any help and advice

I have a problem same with 2 boxes Viark 4sat and Gigablue have been running IPTV through Xtream but both have stopped working.
Can get connection through Smart TV apps
Have tried different feeds and also new trial feeds but they will not connect
Any help appreciated or point to setup guide, most providers do not seem to have knowledge of this

Are you using "Bouquet Maker Xtream - IPTV Bouquet Maker (new 2023)"? on your engima2 box (gigablue)?

xstreamity is the app. Put credentails in playlist.txt and reboot app

if they want to use xsteamity i had to set it up as below.

If you want to use xstreamity just set your user name in the format i have set out below and then paste it into your playlist.

So i got it working fine. Install the app. and then i used dcc to ftp into the box /etc/enigma2/xstreamity/ then went into the playlist and i made up a playlist line of text my just putting in my own details. If anyone wants to do this just copy this line of text and input your own server details where the * are http://**************/get.php?username=*************&password=***********

Got it working okay on Gigablue Quad. But struggling with VIARK 4 SAT, lost my connection when doing update?
When you buy these boxes there is an IPTV app that is already set up and working for Middle East, this has also stopped working when trying to open just states "failed"
Which is the same happening with Xstream?
It seems as though apps are not accessing internet? yet it is connected.
Would anyone know if there is any way of accessing the input for the IPTV app
Tried most things rebooted etc have not tried doing another update

The receiver you are referring to is not supported by us. You need to contact whoever supplied you with the software.

Just to update those kind enough to give input, Bellejt put me on the right track, tried his suggestion ste DNS as LAN address of router did not work. Tried to see if there was a software update but it would not connect? Yet any channels that needed internet worked? So went back to Network settings turned on DHCP found its own settings and connected everywhere. I then tried turning off DHCP assigning a LAN address leaving all other settings as selected by DHCP but this failed? Seem it would only make all connections if router assigns address.
Hope this may help someone somewhere.

if you set fixed ip you need the same range as DHCP. Also same GW and so on

Yes I understand that bit, I left everything as DHCP but just changed last digit on LAN IP address but it would not accept that at all.
Really strange but I'm out of trouble now with a little help from yourself.
I may play around with it now I know how to reconnect.
