VU+ Duo Not Working Help Please

Hi

Can someone please help me

I am trying to flash my VU Duo

I was using OpenPLI it froze So I through i would reflash the receiver

I am using BH 2.0.8 on a USB Dongle to reflash

I put the dongle in and when you switch on the Duo i get a massage saying reading USB
That gos off and i then gat a massage Starting That stays on for a bout 20/25 seconds and then up flashes
a massage reading USB

I have aslo tried to reflash it with OpenPLI-4.0

I get the same massages as BH

Shall I bin it or is their a way to get this working

It is just over a year old

Try different USB sticks.

Also try the latest ViX image - good support here for ViX.

I have tried a total of 3 USB sticks

And 3 differant flashes BH, OpenpLI, VIX

None of them work

So do I put it in the bin Or is their anything els that I can try

is box original or clone,might box need a newer bootloader done first if on old firmware?

Do you have a sticker on the back of your receiver? v2.0 or v3.0?

No it is not a clone.

I. Brought it from the World.O.S shop just over a year ago

Anyway many thanks for all you help

I have tried everything that I know and everything that wes serguested ans still can't get it to work

I have had enough of it

I have now put it in the Dustbin

Try flashing with this bootloader >> http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=Bootloaders/VU+_Bootloaders/Vu+Duo/

This is a very quick process. Once done the bootloader, turn off receiver, then flash with this image >> http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=Vu+Duo/HD/ (HD Version) or >> http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=Vu+Duo/ (SD Version)

Skip version 95 and or wait for Version 96 to come out. Personally I would flash with build 90. :thumbsup:

Also make sure no other usb flash drives are in the box, and try the rear usb ports as well as the front one.
