Vu+ Duo2 Tuner Configuration

Dear all,

I have just received Duo2 a few days ago. I have connected satellite cables from a twin LNB to DVB S2 twin tuner's two terminals on box. I am using latest VIX image. In tuner configuration, I only see one tuner Tuner A. Is this normal, as I have one twin tuner installed or it should show two separate tuners?

I was expecting to record and watch two programmes on different transponders at same time, which I can not.

Please advise!

Hello :wave: welcome to the forum if it's a twin tuner you should see tuner A and tuner B and be able to set them up independently and even if it is set to not configured it should still show up it sounds like it could be a faulty tuner, just asking are you sure that it's a twin tuner and not a single

My fault.... I thought DVC S2 is a twin tuner by default. Just got confirmation from seller, it is a single tuner. No wonder it only shower one tuner......

i thought the duo2 came with a dual dvb-s2 tuner as standard

It does, he doesn't say if he bought it new or second hand...

I bought mine new with the choice of a single or twin tuner.Accordingly the price changed also.Payed 319 euro with single DVB-S2 tuner.

You can add another tuner, but financially it would have been better to have gone for twin tuners at the time of purchase.

Thanks Psionguy! As I mentioned before, I didn't realise that this box comes with a single tuner as well. Anyway, installing an additional tuner is not that costly as well. I'll do it very soon.
