System freezes in standby only option is to do a hard reset.
Also using 1080p but I get a residue around the frame of the picture which clears by restarting the enigma

check OSD position if you have max settings 0, 720, 0, 576 (or something like that). I saw this effect when I used OSD position and some relicts of the OSD were not deleted.

doesn't sound like it's skin related but can you try with default skin (ViX HD Night) & report back?
also, debug logs would help to save everyone guessing to what the problem actually is.

I have sent a couple of debugs Ref: 1373473880.23 and Ref: 1373476465.32

i see new drivers were out dated Vu+ Drivers Update 2013-02-07
i did software updates and latest drivers my solo2 has are 2013-06-21

build 694

any idea how to install latest?

The last three driver releases have been for the Duo2 only, the drivers in the latest images are the most upto date.

I was having the same issue a few weeks ago during live playback but have not had it since changing a couple of settings.

Not sure if it was anything to do with this but i turned off the power timers i had setup. One to go to deep standby at night and one to wake up to standby in the morning. I've just been leaving on standby at the moment.

The other thing i changed was to turn off timeshift save on zap in the timeshift settings.

hi guys im on openvix-3.0.702-vusolo2 just cant get apple trailers working. Can download the plugin fine and install. its showing all the movies in there but when you try to play any. I get blank box. It did work before on a older firm release. Is this happening to all users?

Yeah, looks like not working any more.
You could try MediaPortal; IIRC there 's a working version of AppleTrailers embedded.

Thanks but I was not using those settings. I think it may have had something to do with my hard drive. I reformatted it and it seems to be okay.

latest update says I'm on drivers 20130731

The 711 build was created only a couple of hours before the 20130802 drivers were released.
And we have a habit of working swift, but there are limits ....

Anyway: build 712 is available and contains them
