[VU+ Duo2] will not boot after update 097

Hello,

today i have do update to build 097 coming from build 095. After do this my Duo2 will boot no more. Only start to bootscreen.
I have test with MyMetrix and default Skin.
Must build 097 installed clean without restore settings?

Try a fresh flash with restore.

If that does not work, fresh flash without restore.

I had the same problem and a manual power off and on of receiver solved the problem.

Yes manual power off/on have help me also after the update from 089 to 095. At this time not.
Now i have do a clean install with restore settings and plugins from 095 and all ok now.
But what is the reason why simple updates will no more boot?

Very likely because Build 095 is the first public build to house the merged ViX and ViX HD image code, which is why the update from a earlier version failed, once you flash the receiver to any build above 095 the online updates should work fine again, that is until there is another sufficiently important update.
