[VU+ Solo2] XBMC and VU Solo 2

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong section but i wasnt sure where to post the question

I came across this guide to enable me to stream my Vu Solo 2 to my raspberry pi running XBMC.

However I cant figure out how to bring up multiple bouquets, instead I get 1 huge list of channels.

Ultimately the PI is limited due to hardware, I've tried it in the past due to speed I put the project on the shelf.

Also i'm sure the channels are in 1 big list, google this and look on the PI forum for more info

I too sacked the pi off for being to slow, every time you booted it up it took an age to load the very long list of channels ��

Is there a way to make a bouquet of just the main channels you want and get the pi to read that.

Is there any difference in getting the different bouquets up if I stream to a laptop running xbmc

You dont need xbmc to stream to a laptop. Use the web interface and you will see your bouquets

Oh yes forgot about that.. That's sorted.. Ok just need to see if I can see the bouquets under the pi

if your using a mac then use idreamx to stream to vlc

yes there will be an app, there is on ios, i'm sure other members know or have a quick search in the app store

Yes there is the vu+ player app on the android play store

Oh right I've used that to control the box before and set up timers etc, didn't know I could use it to stream. I've just made a post to ask how I can safely open ports to allow me to control, stream away from home
