[VU+ Duo] OE 3.0 Vix channel selection

Got a strange problem with channel selection up and down buttons since reflashing to 3.0 from 2.4

I have mr mr boquet installed and the channel numbers correspond to sky numbers.

Now when I go to my sports channels from 301 and press up channel button I get to Man utd tv (306) then it jumps to channel 183 and won't change to the next sports channels listed in my bouquet.

It stays in a little loop of 3 channels 183,184,185 and then back to 183.

I have to go into EPG and select the next sports channel on the list to get out of the loop.

It also does this when i get to the final movie channel. It jumps to 183 and does as above.

Never had this on 2.4 and im transferring the same file from Dboxedit.

Any help much appreciated. Dont really want to go back to 2.4 as th enew 3.0 is impressive.

please dont double post - cant replicate this at all, Did you restore settings after you flashed ? if you bring up the channel list are they in the correct order, what are your settings in menu>setup>system>button setup

My appologies for double post. Thought it would be best to start a new thread and It would be clear for anyone else with a similar issue to read. Also no one replied in the other thread and there was lots of discussion about other problems.

Anyhow back to the problem.

Complete new flash. No restore of settings.

Exact same boquet file transferred via dbedit.

Buttons setup as default from install.

Channels are there when I press tv button for single EPG and also in full EPG channels are listed.

When I press ok to bring up info bar and select my next sport channel it is available and I can zap to it.

I've noticed that when it jumps to channel 183 i can go down the channeld no problem but it gets stuck in the loop when I go up the channels.

I have the same problem and I have spotted that for me it is jumping to the first channel after the "dummy" channel used to fill in the gaps to make the channel numbers like Sky.

So as I use channel up everything is fine until it hits the dummy channel. The dummy channel displays and then channel up jumps to the first channel after the first occurence of the dummy channel.

Have the same issue here aswell.

Using both Deambox Services UK Database oand the AutoBouquet Plugin.

Flashed back to 2.4.213 with same bouquets and the issue isn't there.

Using the default skin installed.

Default skin for me as well and I use Mr Mister bouquet.

Can't replicate here using Cateyes.

I have just looked at Cateyes and that bouquet won't give the problem because it doesn't use the dummy channel to give sky channel number equivalents. You need to use Mr Mister or similar that uses sky channel numbering.

what are you guys using as dummy channel ? in my personal bouquets i use 'HD Retail Info' and have no issues

If they are using my bouquets.. then all place holders are radio channels..

I believe that the DBUK bouquets also use a radio channels as a place holders..

Yeh I'm using Mr misters that I've modified to regional.

But dummy channels are radio

Same problem here for me, Using Magic-HD skin,
Using an old Silverfox list, regionally modified and updated by myself.
Mine will move to the dummy channel (radio) using the up channel button, pressing it whilst on a dummy channel will take me to channel 92, pressing the down channel button whilst on a dummy channel will take me to channel 90.
Does same with default skin and Vix_Night_HD

it is best to use TV channels for dummy until this can be tracked down. sound like a issue with the new channel numbering code from PLi,

Just tried using the Sky Intro 999 channel as the dummy channel. Same problem. It jumps to the first channel after it in the bouquet no matter where it is. Think I am going to go back to 2.4 until this is fixed.
