@Sigpark, apologies if my comments sound a bit harsh.

They have made BBC1 HD by default now. I'm sure it wasn't a couple of days ago. Your file works fine. and part of my commenst above are incorrect. I'm sure that BBC2 will be HD in a few days.

@abu baniaz - thanks, It is as you say.

I confirm that BBC 1 NI is HD - can't remember when that happened, and that BBC 2 / Channel 4 and Channel 5 remain SD in the standard NI bouquet. It would be good to get the skyie.xml corrected for the "swap" and the HD order.

Without the "channels on top" section change, the order of HD channels in the listing is incorrect, starting with BBC 2 HD, Channel 4 HD, Channel 5 HD and then BBC1 HD and UTV HD. I have replaced the skyie.xml in the latest image 3.0.793 attached a screenshot using the xml file above showing all OK with "All Channel" listing, then "HD Channel" listing.

BBC 1 NI HD-24112013-1424.webp BBC 1 NI HD-24112013-1442.webp

If possible it would be good to get this fixed in an up-coming release. @abu baniaz - as you say, when BBC2 goes HD, we will need a further adjustment. Thanks again

Bump - please!

@andyblac and @phoenix - please see @abu baniaz comments above who confirms the skyie.xml I posted with slight tweaks is needed for SKY Northern Ireland HD Bouquet now that BBC 1 HD and UTV HD are native. The additional changes in the file get the HD Bouquet Channel order correct. Of course this is not a bug, as it is simply a change in the default config to reflect the channel line up change

Would be grateful if you can find time to include in an upcoming release - I have to keep overwriting /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers/skyie.xml.

As always - thanks for the great work.

i also use the northern ireland auto bouquet, is there any way that i can add TV3 (irish channel) in beside the rte channels and keep it there?

@jordie - The purpose of the ABM is to "replicate" the regional Sky Bouquet and map channels to similar Sky Channel numbers. TV3 and UTV share much content, so they are mutually exclusive on the Sky Ireland Bouquets - you get UTV in Northern Ireland Bouquet, and TV 3 in Southern Ireland Bouquet. So, it doesn't work like that.

What I do is either find TV3 in the "last scanned" list and add to Favourites, or I run ABM for Southern Ireland - add TV 3 to Favourites, and then re-run ABM for Northern Ireland Bouquet. You keep your favourites, and they are easy to access. Not quite what you want.

@abu baniaz - it seems Sky are adding to their HD line up - agree. This means that the various ABM .xml files need updating for consistency (previously swapped SD<->HD now no longer need to happen, and the HD Bouquet order may need a tweak - see my earlier post) . With each release of ViX a manual update of the xml files is needed for your preferred bouquet for ABM to work as intended if the .xml file in the ViX image is not reflective of the actual Sky channel line up - not ideal. As there is no "user" config file feature - we rely on the ViX team to help us. Hope you are reading guys!

@Jordie/Sigpark

It is possible if you want to. You will have to make a copy of the skyie.xml file and rename it to skyeire or anything else different. This will allow you to select a region for Northern Ireland as well as another for the republic. Your bopuquet list will get bigger though, option to hide sections exists.

The other plugin allows you to do this in one go all under a minute. Give both options a try.

guy's,

if you can help with the xml's please update them here and post, i will be happy to update them, as i do not know what the line up needs to be, also if you want to have regional option just duplicate the xml and modify and rename it, i will be happy to add them too.

Andy.

Andy commited the UK one to the GIt so should be available as standard to sort out the swap for BBC2 HD.

The channel lineups for regions can be checked on link below and selecting region. I am afraid that it is going to get messy soon as many HD regions are swapping SD for HD channels. Some regiuons have BBC1 as HD others not.
Code:
*ttp://tv.sky.com/tv-guide

BBC News HD swap will require a lline of 570=503 to be added, But I am not sure how long the current line up will be as it is so may be a futile effort. I don't supose the BBC are too happy about the news being in the Documenatries section.

I was actually thinking that the naming convention could be altered in some way so that the 28.2 providers are listed together and that Freesat could be lowest by default. I shall upload xml files for you to consider.

Just thought I would add to the thread, I think BBC 2 England on Sky has been replaced with BBC Two HD recently, so that particular HD swap is no longer needed as it is now swapping out the HD channel for the SD channel. Sorry if already posted.

Yes, Scotland, Wales and NI. There are no English regions with a simulcast BBC1 HD channel so these will remain SD for the foreseeable future.

So am i correct in thinking the HD swap isn't working anymore? And won't be for the foreseeable? I have it enabled and I'm still getting
101-bbc Wales (sd)
102-bbc2 (sd)
141-bbc Wales (HD)

103-is itv HD
104 is ch4 HD so part of it is working?

What exact region have you set please?

I said there are no simulcast BBC1 HD regions for England for the foreseeable future. That's all. HD swap is just a case of updating the xml file once the settings are known... but obviously you can only do a straight HD swap on simulcast channels.

As England will be unique in not having the simulcast BBC1, maybe an idea to split. Proposal:
Rename and split xml files to become

282_sky_england.xml displayed as
282_sky_irl.xml
282_sky_nirl.xml
282_sky_scotland.xml
282_sky_wales.xml
282_zfreesat.xml

Freesat prefixed with a z to make it appear last.

I shall await approcal before proceeding.
