I have a couple of streams added to my channel bouquet (Landscape HD - not shown in 3D). With Apollo 164, when I switch to a IPstream channel, it switches the Duo2 to 3D 'side by side' setting by default.

I can alter it by going to 'OFF' by going to the system/user interface/3D Settings but when I press 'green' SAVE, it doesn't remember the setting for the next time I go to the channel.

Previous images <163 didn't do this and remembered the 'auto' setting.

Just reporting a possible bug - it's not a major issue for me.

Keep up the good work Vix team!

May be similar bug with my Vu+ Solo2. I have updated to latest version today (apollo164) and all films on the box force my LG TV into 3D mode with '3D content detected message coming on). This does not happen with anything that has been recorded directly on the box. I had no problems at all yesterday playing the films on the box.

may be an unstable release for the duo but it is in downloads now for the solo box
so does this mean its stable on there

No it was released so a user who was online at the time could download the image and flash it directly, so he could test something for us.

mmm, should it not now be removed from downloads then as this is gonna cause issues for many

theres a bug or 2 crept in with some new 3d enhancements. will be fixed in due course :)

i did read about the other boxs and yes there is a bug , but why release it in downloads for the solo boxx

Like Pheonix said, they wanted to test the 1080i feature on the Vu+ Solo and they released it so it could be tested by a forum member, who confirmed that the 1080i feature was working again.
If you look on the website it clearly shows a red symbol, which clearly states "Unstable", so peeps were warned!!

as is my reply to it in post number 7
would it not cause less hassle to sent the individual the file

andy the issue is it is in downloads for all to see and use , wheather it is stable or not is not the issue
all the files in downloads should be in a stable state

If peeps can't read the status of the feeds then thats not the fault of the ViX team, its the muppets who choose to download. Patience is the key peeps! [emoji14]

The feeds have been set to unstable. If you install a stable build, feeds will still be in an unstable set.

Anyway, I'll remove it. Won't stop people updating to 164 if they have allowed unstable updates. For all machines.

As it bothers you so much I have removed the offending image from public view.

thank you abu , will save a lot of grief for some members
