[VU+ Solo SE] power button not working in tvguide and inforbar2

I still don't get it. Exit back to tv and press standby. Always works for me and all my family & friends.

If you watch a program, it finishes, you press the power button on the TV, it sends a CEC message to box to shut down. In that instant, the info bar shows up to indicate next program. All equipment goes off, barring box. Power everything back on. Exit out of all menus on box. Likelihood of infobar showing again is negligible. Switch everything off. Will work every time. Nice and easy.

Are you actually reading the replies from others?

It may not be what you do, it's not what I do (just because I switch of the TV doesn't mean I want to switch of the box), but that doesn't mean it's unreasonable for others to expect it.

However, if you actually want a reason why it is the way it is (probably) it's could be because powering down the box might produce a prompt (there is a recording in progress, or about to start) and that prompt can;t be shown when any menu or EPG (or any overlay) is on the screen.
