I have a dual tuner terrestrial TV card in one of the slots in my VU+ Ultimo 4K. It integrates and works well except that every time the box is rebooted both tuners are set to disabled. I have to manually go in to Menu -> Settings -> Tuners and Scanning -> Tuner Setup and the terrestrial tuners are set as Disabled as you can see below.
As soon as I click in to each one, the correct settings are displayed and I only need to press the green button to 'save' and the tuner is back online.
It is intriguing that the Tuner Type field is not showing as 'Disabled' when you go in to it even though it was listed as 'Disabled' on the previous Tuners menu.
Does anyone know how to force the tuner to be listed as active after reboots? This happens both for manual reboots and also after power cut restorations. This keeps affecting me because in my area we get frequent power cuts and also the mains trip switch is very sensitive and frequently shuts down power. The terrestrial channels are greyed out in the channel list when the box is in this peculiar state after rebooting.
