I have been getting a crash on the Gigablue Quad 4 K Pro when pressing info button in spite of changing the skin
Now I am on Magic FHD
Do I need to re-flash my GBQ4KP?

I think this a plugin crash. The plugin is being re-written by @birdman . Please be patient. Can you please also confirm what receiver you are using.

What sort of event (broadcast, streamed, recorded, ...) are you actually viewing at the time?

I can reproduce it any time I press the info button ( I just pushed it, and I got a crash)

The EPG translator can run from the plugin menu without issue.

Thanks. The crashlog is saying it's a gbue4k. I'll ask one of the coders to look at it

Pressing info starting from which screen?

Pressing info starting from which screen?
Regularly watching a program or movie, and want more information on the show. Pressing the info button lead to the crash

I can't reproduce that.

Are you running any other plugins?

What other plugins do you have installed?
As well as that info, could you please also report:
  • Has the translator worked for you in the past?
  • If so, when did this crash start happening. What did you do just before it started crashing?

I can't do anything at all without this information (including the list of plugins you have), as no-one else is seeing the problem and no-one can reproduce it.

@birdman
I dont think he is using the one from the OE-A image team's plugin server. The fix for this crash ( if it is our version) should not delay other fixes/improvements.

@ml55 Can you please answer the questions people have asked you.

If this crash happens every time you press the button, please enable debug logs and repeat the action. Then upload the debug log. Crash logs are different to debug logs. Your crash log showed the wrong receiver, one of the coders checked and it is correct for him. Did you restore a settings backup from the gbue4k when you got the gbquad 4k pro?

Done

No, it is fresh. I got my GBQ 4k Pro 3m ago Brand NEW ,
Installed the image a month ago. It's not my daily image.
