Hi,

I upgraded my boxes to 6.8.001. My Zgemma H9s had the flash setup on the microsd card. After flashing 6.8.001, I initialised the microsd and followed the instructions on the guide but after I reboot and select the H9SDCardManager option the box crashes and reboots itself. I have no idea why.

I have attached the logs, could someone tell me whats going wrong please?

The OE-A 5.6 build team created an integrated multiboot capability for almost all boxes built today, including the H9s and as part of that they removed the previous capability of having the root transferred to the micro sd card.
The Enigma code has been iincorporated into the current OpenViX image.
I also have an h9s and like you I was using the sdcard, but have now moved to multiboot which in fact gives you both the benefits of more memory(which the previous setup provided) but teh ability to keep both old and new images installed and bootable.

So my current setup is 128GB micros sd card used as HDD and a 64GB usb stick.

The process involves a special initialisation of a usb memory device (if you use a usb device already for storage, then insert a 2nd device)
Be warned the initialisation can take time (15+ minutes) - wait for the initialisation complete message then hit enter to clear screen(if it doesn,t). 4 slots are created,

Requirements:-
usb stick with at least 2GB (I use 64GB) and use a high performance device - obviously faster devices really help this process.
If the initialisation doesn,t work, try a different device.
The code has been added to check that in the device list the HDD device is not in the selection list, but be careful when selecting the disk to format!!

To initiate:
Download and flash latest image for your receiver (later than 6.7.016.001) ....
Long press Power button on receiver and select "Enable Chkroot MultiBoot".
Then Green button in gui, select device, enter and Green button to initialise device and slots .... wait, wait, wait for it to complete.....it says initialisation complete.
Hit enter to clear screen (if it doesn,t) and then should reboot and you are away, so continue as normal muliboot receiver. (short press power will bring up multibootslector, ImageManager will show flashable slots)

NOTE: 1st boot from Power up is SLOW - and depends on box chipset and age.
