[ViX_Misc] Correct file size is shown in movielist only from the second selection

Hi,

since I use Open ViX, I have noticed following "problem" in the movie list (not really important but still kind of weird):

The size of a done recording is only shown correct from the second selection of the file. First time select, the file size is allways shown with 0 MB. Same problem in other Images from OE-Alliance, so apparently a bug in the OE-Alliance code.

In contrast, with Open PLi Image, the file size of a recording is allways shown correct, also when file is selected the first time ...

Any idea?

What skin are you using? I have the same problem when using Magic-HD-Noire in my Duo2 and Ultimo.

I`am using the Skin Magic-HD-Night - so perhaps a skin related problem?

Anybody an idea where I have to look in the skin.xml because of the described error for compare with other skins?

To some extent it has to be, as the skin I use (Vix-Night-HD) doesn't display the file sizes at all.

The relevant part from your skin config seems to be this line in MHDC/CommonSkin.xml (lines 1681/2):

                <widget source="Service" render="Label" position="15,645" size="140,25" transparent="1" foregroundColor="white" font="Regular;20">
                        <convert type="MovieInfo">FileSize</convert>

That file is in vix-mhdc, so anything using that will be affected.

The file size actually gets written to the meta file (line 7).
But it doesn't get written when the recording ends - it gets written some time later. (Not sure what event actually causes it to be updated).
Presumably the skin coding uses the meta file (to avoid stat()ing a file) and gets 0 when it is new (and for some time afterwards...).
