[VU+ Solo2] Error Mounting Network Mount

Hi guys, I wonder if you can help?

I've done a fresh flash this morning to Apollo 28, and when trying to remount my nas I'm going through the usual process, install cifs / nfs, network browser, browse to share, mount using autofs etc.
I can see that the mount has been successful as the "globe" appears in the mount viewer




But, when I try to browse to the mount through the media player, I get the following error message



I'm fairly sure I've done it correctly (I've remounted my NAS many times on previous flashes), but very glad of any input and advice

Hi all
I've looked at the file system through filezilla, and compared it to the filesystem in a backed up image (apollo 23)
It looks like it's missing "the link" if that makes any sense. I open up media/autofs/server/ but it doesn't then "shortcut" to my nas, rather server is an empty folder.
If I look at this folder on apollo 23, the "link" is there in media/autofs/server/, and within here are the files/folders on the share on the NAS.

Hope that might help anyone who could tell me what's wrong?

I've seen that Apollo #29 has been released today, and I will fresh flash when tv is not in use (currently watching england v norway) - but does anyone know if this build fixes the issue I have on mounting network drives?

just to confirm the issue remains on Apollo 29. Looks like the only solution I have is a roll back to my backup of Apollo 23

All I can presume is that the SMB plugin doesn't play nice with the new kernel?
It would be good to hear from someone?

For anyone who might be interested, it does look like its the samba/cifs plugin that doesn't play nice with the new kernel. I can (and have) mapped to the NAS via NFS

when i access my recordings i press the button between menu and audio known as recording list and pressing yellow button i can change to another location and my nas drive is listed also.
