[ViX_Misc] OE-Alliance OnDemand player official support and discussion thread.

[Mavarick]

I saw an earlier post about whether other countries On demand channels can be added
but no answer

"Is there a way to edit this plugin and have other country "On Demand" services working on it. eg. New Zealand we have 3 networks providing On demand Programmes"
How or what can be done to follow up on this ?

many Thanks

[Larry-G]

It was removed as it no longer works due to changes by the BBC to prevent unofficial players streaming their content.

The problem is that TV3 has revamped its website resulting in changes to the feeds.. Any changes to the feeds results in a broken player that requires a re-code to pick up the new sources, if it's possible at all..

If I get time in the coming weeks I will try and take a look but no promises...

If only the streaming sites would all adapt HTML5 and stick to a standard for operating on TV's then perhaps we could develop something here that would be more permanent and just link directly to their websites, here is hoping :violin:
