to be honest - if someone makes the choice knowingly to buy a clone, then at least they know what they're getting into. You won't get any support here and if it breaks, has problems with drivers, perhaps even sets on fire... well, you bought a clone, you made your bed, lie in it.

When you buy something you thought was genuine, at genuine prices and you receive a clone, that's just dishonest from the trader and I'd want my money back and/or report them to trading standards.

I've always bought genuine, and from the sponsor here to avoid any chance of a clone being passed as a genuine box!

I thought I was buying genuine product, and to be honest if it works and doesnt set on fire then im sort of happy with it. I wont be asking on here for any box specific support but would like a little help with the BlueHD3 skin, re recordings not showing where they should be, it just shows a blue screen. Other skins show recordings when pressing the recordings button.

Given your attitude towards paying full price for a clone. Personally I thing your be g disingenuous about not knowing it was a clone before you bought it.

Indeed, If I had bought what I thought to be a genuine product, only to discover the only genuine thing about it was that it's a fire hazard, I would be severely pissed off.

Hi, I'm very very very new to this scene. Got my first box on Saturday VU solo 2 se, My wife and kids wany to get it to look as much like sly as possible and this skin looks great. So...for a complete noob...what do i need? and how do i do it? many thanks in advance

Just download it from the plugin feed on vix and then go into setup - system - interface -skins and select the skin in there it will ask to reboot and thats it all done

Did a fresh install of Apollo 118 and downloaded this skin but the time bar seems to interact with the BBC One HD bar and each channel EPG bar text seems to be not centered with gaps below the text within the shape whereas before updating it was normal

My EPG image on top displays the EPG text at the top of the box whereas other people EPG image on bottom displays the EPG text in the center inside the box

Not sure if it was here or another forum but Rossi said he wont be converting this to 1080, he has done all he wants to with the sky and virgin themed skins and wants to create something new instead.

That's terrible news - the BlueHD skins are the best on here IMHO (they are popular for a reason!)

personally I dont see the appeal of a sky uk branded skin, I use Enigma2 boxes to get away from sky uk's crappy boxes and branding.

they are popular ye, theres no denying it
red and blue will stay on the 720 base. i have no motivation to update those skins id much rather work on something new. youvix and vixbmc are way better, but thats just my opinion

its not a case of re-sizing all my psds/graphics etc for it, it wont work like that, otherwise we'd have a 1080 blue-hd already
