Sorry but we don't provide images or any kind of support for illegal, counterfeit receivers. Kindly ask those who sold you this illegal receiver for support.

That's fine, unfortunately many users are conned into thinking we support these receivers due to the unauthorised, patched images others produce to gain sales.

Sadly that's a common tactic of cloners used to dupe users into buying their products. If you were unaware of the receiver being a counterfeit I would recommend you report them to trading standards but we can't offer support for it sadly.

Good Afternoon All

I have been using the ViX-HD_experimental Skin that rossi and others developed since the 10.10.14 and continue to really enjoy what the team has developed for us all.

I have a question regarding the Blue HD V3 skin that is now very well developed and also looks great,

Question is it compatible with my box Vu+Solo2 running Apollo 71 images and if yes is it at all possible to alternate between two skins by that I mean do what is necessary to save my current settings, download this skin from within the software option (if possible) and then activate this new one to be my preferred skin while not deleting the ViX-HD_experimental Skin having it saved as a secondary option?

If this is possible could someone offer me some best advice how best to proceed.

you cannot use skins from normal vix image onto the hd version and vice versa.
also please dont use any settings backups from normal vix onto the hd vix.

Thank you for you're reply, I sort of understand what you are saying in that standard SD skins should not be mixed with HD skins

Is it still possible to use the new Blue HD V3 skin on its own within my current configuration as the default skin

no, the hd image image wont display the blue-hd properly, quite a bit of it wont look right.

Updated to Apollo 80 today and tried the Blue HD skin for the first time - crisp! Long time since I had a Sly box running, but this will be a hit with my wife I'm sure.
Also setup ABM using ZZL's option, which I hadn't realised was built into the Vix BM until reading through the entirety of ZZL's original post and replies earlier today!
Congrats to Rossi2000 and Simonsez for a great looking skin and to ZZL for cleaning up what I'd been attempting to do in an amateur editing fashion since we lost the HD channels!

More than a bit insulting to some other skin developers still doing great work in updating their skins when needed & the image developers excellent default skin.
