Tried installing picons via plugin menu but they don't show up in the EPG. Have picons set to display in EPG menu. Tried restarting box etc.

Am I missing something here? Totally new to VIX having previously used Blackhole for the last 2 years.

G-EPG screen, menu button, service title mode = Picon or Picon and service name. Have you this set?

I do mate yeah, tried both options without luck.

Also have "Show picons in service list" set to yes in Channel Selection Settings in main menu.

Do you know where the picons were installed to? what pack did you use & what pack do you require?
If you can telnet to the box, issue:
Code:
find / -name picon
& post the results.

Which picons have you installed?
Which services/providers/satellite are not shown?
Are any shown?

Installed to flash.

Have tried 3 different packs.

tv-ocram hd black white
tv east
tv sandman

None are shown at all.

The picon packs on the feeds do not have cable services on them. The ipks on openvix download site do but for excw/telewest areas. SNP version does not matter which region you are in.

Need to find somone from a pure area to send a lamedb file with only Cable services

So if I do it this manual way, I will need to FTP them to the HDD? Any particular location?

Would prefer them to be on internal flash but assume it's not possible this way.
