[VU+ Duo2] Slow and laggy channel switch with large bouquet list

I think I have found a weird bug: If I use a large bouquets list, for example Cyrus settings with about 100 bouquets, satellite and provider list channel switch becomes slow and remote is laggy. Weird thing is, that channel switch via bouquet lists is still fast without any lag.

I checked Enigma2's cpu usage with 'top' and there was a big difference between if I used bouquet list or if I used satellite or provider list to switch the same channels. For example SD RAI 1, 2 and 3 in Hotbird.

If I limit bouquets.tv to about 10 entries, the lag disappers. OpenATV 4.0 also has the same problem. But OpenPli 4 doesn't have the problem, it works without lag.

Are you using picons in your service list? If so where are they located?

Had you considered giving information like box model, build of image you're using etc. might get more help.

If it was a bug or a common issue you would have seen dozens of posts about it and probably as many answers.
No answer is generally a good indication for 'no issue'.

It's just weird that OpenVix and OpenATV both show this issue but OpenPli does not. All tested with identical way and settings.

All my boxes have over 600 bouquets, some large, some small.
I never had any issue; behaviour under PLi is the same as under ViX.

As I said: if there really was an issue in this area, there would have been many complaints.

And you did understand my description where the lagging appears? It's not there if you use bouquet lists, it's only there when you go to a satellite and change channels there or select a provider and change channels there.

Yeah, also there no problem whatsoever. Even the 'all-list' with thousands of services shows no lagging.
