[CrossEPG-Config] VU+ UNO 4K SE with Unicable 2 LNB error: Cannot get NIM

I'm trying to set up this new receiver using VIX 6.2 image but cannot get CrossEPG to work.
I'm sure it's probably something simple but I'm stuck.
I've configured the tuners as per the sticky: Unicable II, Inverto IDLU-32UL40-UNB00-0PP, FBC tuners
Fed via single cable all 8 tuners seem to work.
I've selected sky UK 28.2 in the opentv providers section.
However when I try to use 'download now' I get a crossEPG error: cannot get the NIM
Can someone put me out of my misery and point out my rookie mistake please?

why crossepg ? EPGimporter is much better and stable (rytec)

Post screenshots of the tuner config. Please actress every tuner and then take the screenshot. Don't just take a screenshot showing all the tuners.

CrossEPG will need the tuner with the physical cable, the ones sharing a cable, i.e using "connected" are not selected /usable.

For 28.2, people usually use the OpenTV EPG downloader on Vix. CrossEPG is more or less abandoned now. The inbuilt EPG reader reads the EPG data better.

Can you also issue the command below using Putty/Terminal client/ssh and upload the created text file. You will find it in /tmp directory.

cat /etc/enigma2/settings | grep config.Nims > /tmp/mytunerconfig.txt

Looks like CrossEPG is more trouble than it's worth.
I'll give the other 2 solutions mentioned a go & choose which suits me best.

It should still work. There may be an issue causing your problem that will manifest itself later and cause other problems.

Crossepg works fine for me, across German & English services - absolutely no software issues that I am aware of….
