There is absolutely no change in the image that will interfere with PiP.
The only thing that has maybe changed are your settings or your provider has changed the codecs...

my streams are saved in bouquet as dvb1 and that works fine.Have even mixed bouquets with sat and stream channels .I do not use the onyx and think it is an extra app to install

My Streams are also intertwined with my Sat channels, I use BouquetmakerXtream to create iptv bouquets then copy my favourite iptv channels into my favourites bouquet which does not get cleared/updated by timed Autobouquetmaker, but this is moving off topic of not being able to play iptv streams as pip, they will play as main with a satellite channel as the pip but not the other way around, as I mentioned the pip software flag is on but no mini screen is visible as per the attached pictures, both are in pip the first has sky as main and bbc as pip, the second is swapped, I have pressed the Blue button to show it thinks pip is active but it doesn't display the mini screen until I switch the pip to a sat channel. Not a problem if it is not supposed to do this, but it used to a few versions back. I have got a new issue since the last update where after standby my screens are blank/black, I can get the overlays but nothing else and I have to restart the GUI, never done it before but it has happened on 3 of my boxes, All SF8008's with OpenVix 6.8.001

do you have the same problem with standard skin ? For pip I take bleu button to activate.Then switch channels so you have the same as screen 1 from you.Then again blue button and yellow (in skin night HD) and working fine

And we dont understand what are the service references of those stream in the bouquet? 4097? 1?
Also keep in mind that when it is 4097 and you watching the stream and try PiP it may not work if you have just 1 connection allowed.
When you use m3u link then is always 1 connection in majority of cases.
Also if it is 4097 the xtream codes server setup may not provide TS compatible stream and then PiP will never work no matter what you do.

So is definitely no enigma but i guess some combination of setup and provider change issue.

Hi I have attached my stream codec info, yes I use the M3u link and I don't multistream, my provider kicks anyone out that multistreams without a multiroom account.
This isn't an issue**, I was just raising it in case a bug had been introduced in an update and the programmer was not aware of it.

On my playlist settings in bouquetmakerxtream I changed my 'Stream type LIVE:' from IPTV(4097) to DVB(1), I can no longer play any streams in the IPTV bouquet, I tried the last option available Exteplayer(5002), these play but will not show as pip the same as 4097.

If it not plays as DVB then the streams are not TS compliant. So nothing you can do. And pip will never work.

PIP was only ever made for service type 1.
