im not sure how u create a ipk file I haven't looked into it...
u can always downloads a standerd cool epg ipk and install that.
then I can post the skin for it.
all u will need to do is replace the cool epg folder with mine.. its easy

or if someone on the forum tells me how to create the ipk file ill do it...
I don't want to be doing any researching on the subject it takes time..
if its easy enough ill doit.i cant see it being that hard I think I done it before a long time ago and I have forgotten how to do it now.

Correct, it should work but it's not fully compatible or mapped properly for ViX, not that it would stop people using it if they wanted to.

well your not missing any thing, the default ViX EPG is light years ahead of the CoolEPG offering ( in my opinion ).

Except you can't customize the coloured buttons or page up and down, perhaps 1 day Andy can add this, then it will be awesomer. (Is that a word??)

Too much customization in the user's hands is a pain in the neck for andy, just look at the amount of people who cant even submit a proper bug report now then imagine what that number will be if users had multiple customization's running for the various screens. it would take andy months to track down and fix issues. if you still really want to customize buttons try the MQB plugin from the feeds.

ive looked into making a ipk file but I either need a hard drive installed in my machine which I don't have or I need a pc with Linux on which I don't have aswell.
so Im afraid I cant do a ipk file for u guys,
however I have sent abell431 a message who created this lovely skin and asked him if he wanted to to make a ipk for his wonderfull skin with my cool skin added so u can choose his cool skin or mine and have the best of both worlds.
however Im not so sure he will want to do it lets hope so.

I hope he dosent think im being rude for asking....

You can use a usb stick instead of hdd if it is ipkg-tools you were looking at using.
