TK4, have you tried the SkinPart 'ChannelSelection (phyr)'?

I installed it mainly due to the scrolling for the running text description but was happily surprised to find that the programme name has a different coloured text to the channel name :thumbsup:

Hi, thanks, but I must be doing it wrong. Every 1 I try from open store with coloured text comes up white on mine, even the one you suggest.

I'm guessing (although I haven't looked) that it uses one of the accent colours - accent 2 perhaps? If you check in your colour settings, are they set to white?

From memory the default channel selection also uses accent 2 colour for program name. (I can't really tell as my accent 2 is white!)

JJ, have a play with e2skinner. It crashes a lot with VIX skins but is good enough to have a play with the code and make some tweaks.

Thanks for your advice - I've been playing with e2skinner which is really useful. However, it would be great to find a definitive list of sources and conversions, as I'm having to try to gleen these from existing SkinParts at the moment.

Do you know if there's anywhere that I can find a list of these please?

I'd really like to include ServiceNumber in my own modded infobar but I can't seem to get it to work for some reason...

Jimbo, unfortunately that is what I had to do - trial and error from other skins and skin parts. Often the best skins to start with are Vix-night and Magic. There is a skinners forum that you can PM a mod for access to, this is the best place to ask questions.

It should do Cohibastevie as long as they are running Vix, but hopefully someone with one of those boxes can confirm.

Noticed a minor mistake. Pause. Then press the fast forward button to enter frame seek. Advance seek is showing reverse rewind buttons instead of forward arrows.
Hope my useless description makes sense!

Just another observation. Not sure if this is skin, vix or enigma related. I'll start here though as this thread is active and usually useful.
If you are in the epg and move forward a few days and set a recording by pressing the record button on the remote, the recording is correctly added to the timer list but the epg jumps back to today's date rather than staying on the future date to continue looking at what's on.
Hope this makes sense.

Is there a extension that i can download that is the same as the vix night with the satellite that shows up with the time when you move your motorised dish as the current one just shows the dish and I don't know if it's moved or not.

If you playback a video of longer that 99:99, the seek time changes to a dash.

You don't need the physical dish for that to show. Just tell the box a motor is connected and it will believe you and behave like it is.
