Complete Noob to this satellite stuff your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a dual LNB with a VU+ duo2 box which has 2 dual tuners.

I would like to have both tuners working which would enable me to record more programs at once without conflicts etc. therefore my question is:

As I only have a dual LNB when the 2 cables get to the box can I split them using 2 spliters to cover all four inputs? or do I have to add a Quad LNB and run another dual cable?

You cannot split the cable. You would be better off configuring tuner b= loop through to tuner a. Tuner d = loop through to tuner c. No cables connected to them, they will use internal loop through if your image allows.

Sat cables connected to A and C, both set as simple, single, 28.2
