Hi I was wondering if someone can put me in the right direction… I got a vu duo box with the vix image but I wanna change the skin I've seen a blue one its just like the sky one but abit darker blue I think but it looks the same. But how do I put it on an what do I do? I'm new to all this can someone HELP ME PLEASE!!!

go to the plugins section in the menu, find download, and pick the blue skin.

Theres only 4 things there crossepg, media scanner,? Penwibif, pictureplayer… so where do I get the new skins????

Then you'll most likely need to update your image to a later (I'd go latest!) version first.

You are on an old image then. You will need to flash to latest Apollo to get access to plugin feeds.

yes thats a very old image and no longer supported, you would have to reflash the receiver with a more upto date image to be able to access the feeds, but make a set of backups first just to be safe, and using a FTP program back up all important files such as your cam configuration files.

Does an hdd has to be fitted to do that? An what do I flash with because there's vix new you said apollo black hole bit confused now…

Ideally you need at least a USB stick inserted in the receiver to run the EPG especially if you do not have a HDD installed because the EPG can become corrupted very easily and thats not good for the receiver as it will fill the flash in no time. as for the image you want to use thats up to you but the Blue-HD skin is not compatible with the Black hole image only with ViX. if you want to load the newest ViX image go for OpenViX Apollo Build 089 from www.openvix.co.uk

Not sure if this is just me but does anyone else have a problem with the filelist not showing correctly? it's like the recording all seem to be squashed up and unreadable!
