[GiGaBlue QUAD] Cannot play (HD) .m2ts or .wmv files

I am trying to play some home made HD videos on my GigaBlue Quad using Vix Apllo 024.
Both .wmv and .m2ts files wont play at all. Some .mpg files don't have sound.
These same files play fine on my (windows) PC but also on an other linux based media player! (PlayonHD)
Many other AVI video's (also HD) play fine. Are there some drivers I should install or....
Any suggestions much appreciated

unfortunately the media player on E2 based receivers should be considered as a bonus rather than a full blown media player, due to the way media files are handled (primarily in hardware rather than in software) which is also why you can not add codecs for extra functionality .
