I've set up a Technomate TM-Nano-SE M2 and noticed there seems to be a bug with video frequency switching in 5.0.016 when using 1080i.

Basically the frame rate isn't changed no matter whether the box is set to 50hz / 60hz or multi.

I noticed this when trying a foreign IPTV stream that it was playing at the wrong frame rate and you don't see the auto frequency switch occur (which usually causes a black screen on the TV for a few seconds) and it immediately just says "is this video mode ok?"

If I use 1080p the video modes switch as expected and you get the black screen as it swaps automatically or you change it manually from 50 to 60hz in the AV Settings.

This is in the same setup that video frequency changing has been working fine for with the LX3 that is being RMA'd.

This is a brand new flash today with no settings restore used.

The debug log does seem to show the events but it's not being triggered somewhere along the line:

Code:
< 192.653> [VideoHardware] setMode - port: HDMI, mode: 1080i, rate: 50Hz
< 204.046> [VideoHardware] setMode - port: HDMI, mode: 1080i, rate: 60Hz

OK hooked up an HDfury Integral and it confirms that the Technomate box puts out 1080i locked at 50hz regardless of what the setting is.

In 1080p mode 50 & 60hz sources work as expected and change the frame rate accordingly.

For example, here's the TM-Nano-SE M2 configured in 1080i mode at 60hz:

And then here's what the box is putting out:

Same problem in Multi - everything is put out at 50hz which causes stutter with non 50hz / fps content.
