I think ill stop modding my cool guide skin because I think everyone will prefere yours....

I think a lot of people out there will like yours! the only thing I do not like is the use of black as if you look at a sky guide they do not use black anywhere so it looks out of place a bit. I think if you changed the black bits to a different shade of blue it would look really good!

I really think that the pair of you are doing a sterling job so hats off to both of you :thumbsup:
Would be great to see you working together on this but at the same time easy to understand why you may want to go your own ways with it.

Absolutely do not agree, there is more than enough room for you both to either co-operate on a joint project or individual projects, Thats what makes Enigma2 such a great platform, many many devs working on things for the betterment of the community as a whole.

As far as I know ViX is the only image in which you can choose to use the defaults (your seconds screenshot) or a custom one (like in your first screenie).

Ronan at ukcvs was doing a similar project. He does the picons for the Commando image. I'll let him know.

Hope it is a case of the more the merrier, rather than too many cooks spoil the broth.

Change the timeshift icons to look more like sky (nothing I have tried works )

Install SH4 veresion if you have a pkteam image otherwise install standard version.

Just a suggestion, picture 2,4 & 5 would look great transparent in my opinion. Just saying because when I use to use my skybox it was annoying not being able to see what was on TV when in the menus.

please dont think that your work is not appreciated because it is, ideally you should both have been posting in separate threads updating and maintaining your own work taking your own projects in the direction you want it to go.

HAHA, one thing you will learn as a skinner is that you can never please every one, best tip i can give is stick to your guns and develop your skin to your taste, by all means adapt it to suite requests if you want but learn when to put your put down and tell people to rack off.

my cool sky skin has been downloaded a few times has any one got any comments like improvements and what images it works ok on.

Hi Fraggle121, thanks very much for all your hard work on the skyhdmod skin, iv try'd it on my box ( TM nano ) but i only get the cooltv guide part on my box?, iv frist added the cooltv files and that gave me the skyhd tv guide but when i press up or down on the remote that shows wot's on but not the tv guide it is the same as the skin iv got on, so i try'd the ipk and after sending the command it said that installation was a success but it still only has the skin on the cooltv guide?

just installed cool tv guide reset box as advised and i now have some plugins are not available: extensions/cooltvguide(no module named sleeptimeredit) any ideas? thanks

Is this on ViX? That would explain it, as Cool hasn't been made compatible with ViX.

I did ask for people to post there comments before like what image they use only 1 person did and he had a openpli same as me.
as above I don't think it works on a vix bit i don't have a vix so cant say for sure.
i do know though that cool guide dosent work on every box that's why it would have been nice to get more feedback ..

the cool ipk that was posted here was just the skin for the cool guide not the skin for your box.
what u may need to do is re install cool tv guide the proper version from here.

or whare ever u got the cool tv guide from before..

then if u want it skinned to look like my guide u install the ipk that was posted
if that dosent work then download the data files I posted and manauly transfer them.
remember this is just the skin for cool guide only. this does not alter the skin on your box.

if u want a skin for your box then download adbell431 ipk on page 12 he has has added his own coolguide skin aswell and he has done a very nice job,,
if u don't like abell431 coolguide skin transfer my data files to the correct location now u will have abdel431 nice skin for foy your box and u will get my cool tv guide skin...

also the cool guide skin I posted is still a work inprogress there may be some probs with it still however I used mainly the tv guide and I sorted that out just fine,,,,

the other skin xml files I posted was just to fix miner things that abdell431 had on his old skin like remaining time and i removed the channel numbers ....just miner touches but i think he has sorted them faults out now with his later ipk he posted

if your still getting probs send me a pm and ill try to talk u through it...


also to get the other guides going when u have sky tv guide screen up i press yellow guideswitch
it will the go through easy guide multi guide and single guide

one other thing is the cool tv guide skin data files i posted was for the blue and black guide it was not for the cool guide i showed im working on at the moment on page 13

probably best to start your own thread now mate as your modifications are becoming confused with abell431's modifications and vice versa.
